They have been broken in, spelled and have returned for their 1st Prep. They are going great guns - jumping out of the gates and are ready to start fast work. JET SPUR Yearling Filly out of GRAND MEMORIES (Grand Lodge) mum was a town winner and the Jet Spur's are flying & are early 2YO's: ROYAL ACADEMY Yearling Filly out of PLAYGROUND (Nediym). Both half sisters are city winners, SINGLE PLAY Trained in Sydney by Kris Lees and SEESAWING Trained in Brisbane by Kelly Schweida. Half brother MONCHENGLABACH trained by Jason McLachlan on the Sunshine Coast has won....and PLAYACTION by the successful CAPE CROSS & Trained by David Peoples has had an impressive first racing preparation starting over the Winter Carnival and running a credible 9th in the Sires Produce only beaten by 2.7lengths. This filly is from a proven family of winners with strong city form and will be put through the January Session of the Magic Millions Sale in 2011. ROCK OF CASHEL yearling Filly out of WHIPCRACKIN FLOOSIE (Shovog). The Rock of Cashel's have just starting hitting their straps with a string of wins of late: Broodmare 9yo, MICHIGAN AVENUE - LION HUNTER out of ACQUISITIVE (Covetus), won $36,550. Ran 2nd in town over 1030, 2 x 1sts at Ipswich over 1200 & 1330m then went north to race & won & placed in Townsville & Rockhampton. 1st first foal going through the Ready to Run sale, he is a big strong chestnut gelding by BAGGER VANCE.
